Wait With Me (2023) tells the story of Kate Smith, a romantic novelist. She snuck into the CCC for several weeks after discovering the relatively quiet atmosphere, plus free coffee, cookies and pastries, suddenly found herself writing thousands of words each day. She thought she was flying under the radar until she realized that Miles knew she wasn't just here for the service. They started to form a friendship. Kate finds herself attracted to a young man and Miles feels the same from the moment he meets her.
